The EeMóvil application primarily contains the features of the My Special Portal system, focused on mothers, fathers, and guardians of special education programs. Using EeMóvil will allow families of students in the special education program to have key information about their students at their fingertips on their smartphones. This application increases the visibility that families of students in the special education program have regarding educational and other related processes through a robust system of notifications and alerts delivered directly to their mobile devices.

The main features of this application are presented below:

General student information;

Access to the students' electronic Individualized Education Program (IEP);

Access to a copy of the students' academic progress at 10, 20, 30, and 40 weeks;

Access to student evaluations ;

Viewing the status of evaluation referrals;

Viewing appointments for evaluation processes;

Viewing the status of therapy referrals;

and Ability to file complaints in the administrative procedure of the Special Education Program.

Functionality that allows the submission of service requests through the Complaints and Provisional Remedy Procedures Secretarial Unit.

Access to requests, approval letters, and contracts for services offered through the Provisional Remedy mechanism.

Access to details of therapy services offered to students by related service providers.

Ability to view and track transportation scholarship reimbursements.

Modules for parents with students in private schools at public expense to view service approval letters and request reimbursement for services when applicable.

Functionality for direct notifications to users about the main processes for students in the Special Education Program.
