The AR Ruler app utilizes Augmented Reality technology to enable users to measure real-world objects using their phone's camera. To use the AR tape measure tool, aim the target at the identified plane.

The AR Ruler app offers several features, including:

1) Linear measurement - measures sizes in cm, m, ft, yd, mm ruler or inch ruler.
2) Distance meter - measures the distance between the camera and a fixed point on the 3D plane.
3) Angle - measures the corners of 3D planes.
4) Perimeter and Area.
5) Volume - measure 3D objects.
6) Path - calculates the path's length.
7) Height - measures height relative to the identified surface.

The Photo Ruler app measures the size of objects using a picture or screen measurements. It offers the same convenience and accuracy as a traditional mm ruler or tape measure tool. Using the Ruler app:

To use the Photo Ruler app, ensure that the object you want to measure and the base object of known length (Base Item) are in the same picture. Select the appropriate base item such as a debit/credit card or a quarter from the ruler app settings. Align the blue and green arrows against the base object and the object you want to measure, respectively.

If you plan to use a traditional mm ruler app, place the object you want to measure on the device's screen and adjust the line limiters. Calibration can be done using different base items, such as a debit/credit card or a coin. Choose between Imperial (inches) and Metric mm ruler (centimeters). The accuracy of the measurement is as precise as when using a traditional mm ruler app or tape measure tool, provided the marker is correctly aligned.
