Bankak / بنكك

The Bank of Khartoum has a smart app called Bankak/بنكك (formerly known as mBOK) that allows customers to access their bank accounts or mobile accounts easily and safely. This mobile banking and account experience is more powerful than ever before. To log in, customers can use their Bank of Khartoum A/C – CIF or create and access their mobile account instantly using a valid mobile number. The بنكك account enables any BOK account holder to subscribe and access their account from home, while the بنكك mobile service allows customers to open a mobile account using their valid mobile number.

The app has several features, including instant and real-time account access from anywhere with secure account protection and instant SMS notifications for all transactions done. Customers can transfer any amount up to SDG 2,000,000/day and transfer funds between their own bank accounts, other BOK accounts, other banks via card number, and any mobile money account holder. Additionally, customers can use "بنـكك |PAY" (QR code-based payment method) to make payments at any بنـكك |PAY shop or BOK Wakeel, and use cardless cash withdrawal (OTP) to withdraw money at a BOK ATM or BOK Wakeel shop or send cash to someone else. Customers can also save funds transfer or bill payment beneficiaries for frequent transfers and payments, create a fixed term deposit account instantly, set standing orders for schedule funds transfers, manage password reset, registered mobile phone, email address, and security questions, and choose between Arabic and English languages.

Bills that customers can currently pay through بنكك include electricity (SEDC), telecommunication (e.g., Zain, MTN, Sudani, Canar), government services (e.g., HAJ, MOHE, E-15, Medical Supplies, Customs), education (e.g., Imperial University, OUS, Future University, Desire 2 E-learning), donations (e.g., Sadagat, Wagfia Organization for Orphans Care, Alqassim Organization for Humanitarian Aid, Voluntary Agency for Medical Aid and Relief), fuel and gas (e.g., Bashaer), transportation (e.g., Tirhal, Mishwar, Tzkarati, Rahtak Taxi, Adeeela), travel and tourism (e.g., Haboob.sd, food delivery, Yala Na6lob, Fresh, Debonairs Pizza, Tukul, Aklak), online shopping (e.g., K-OF-T, Dukani, Dayir, Alsouq.com Hypernova, Tutia), BOK payments (e.g., Irada/Microfinance), medicine and health (e.g., Tbeebk), and more (e.g., Rita Pay).
