This project is an initiative of Sciensano, the Belgian institute for health research, in collaboration with KU Leuven, Rikolto, ILVO, Let Us, Artevelde University College, Het Nieuwsblad and Hoplr. Sciensano wants to use science and data to improve the well-being of everyone. With The Big Food Map we want to better understand how the food environment in Flanders is structured and how we can improve it. The project is financed by VLAIO, the Flemish Agency for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
