With features including earthquake early warnings, user reports on felt earthquakes, earthquake data from global seismic networks at magnitudes as low as 0.0, and voice synthesizer notifications (available only in the PRO version), Earthquake Network is a must-have app.

The app is the result of the Earthquake Network research project, which has developed a smartphone-based system that detects earthquakes in real-time and alerts the population in advance. Using the accelerometer in smartphones, the app quickly alerts users of impending seismic activity. The speed of earthquake waves allows for advanced warning to those still outside the affected areas.
