o Ensure their privacy – Family Link's permission management tools empower you to make informed choices about your child's data, and manage permissions for apps, websites, and extensions accessed through Chrome.
o Secure their account – As a parent, you can manage your child's account and data settings on Family Link, change or reset their password if they forget it, modify personal information, or delete their account if necessary.

- Stay Connected on the Go
o Find out their location – With Family Link, you can locate your child on one map as long as they are carrying their device.
o Get notifications and alerts – Family Link provides critical notifications, such as your child arriving or leaving a particular location. You can also view the device's battery life and ring devices.

- Family Link's features may differ depending on your child's device compatibility. Visit families.google/familylink/device-compatibility/ to see a list of compatible devices.
- Although Family Link helps you regulate your child's purchases and downloads from Google Play, they will not need permission to install app updates or apps approved previously.
- It's essential to review all apps on your child's device carefully and disable those not appropriate for them. Pre-installed apps such as Play and Google cannot be disabled.
- To track your child's device, it needs to be recently active, on, and connected to the internet through data or Wi-Fi.
- Family Link is exclusive to supervised Google accounts only. Children get access to Google products such as Search, Chrome, and Gmail, while you set important digital ground rules directly to supervise them.
- Family Link's tools help to secure your child's online experience, but it does not guarantee internet safety. You should make informed decisions about your child's device usage and establish your family's ideal online safety standard.
