PocketInvEditor is a useful tool designed for editing the inventory in Minecraft Pocket Edition. It allows users to obtain additional blocks and items without the need for tedious manual input of hexadecimal data or the requirement of connecting to a computer. However, it should be noted that the application does not have the capability of adding new items to Minecraft PE, it can only provide existing ones.

The app comes equipped with several innovative features, such as the ability to load and save Pocket Edition level.dat files, providing editing options for all item slots in Survival mode, allowing users to edit type id, damage value, and amount. The app also has a list of item IDs built-in for easy browsing. Additionally, there is a one-click backup feature that saves levels into a .zip file, stored in games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds_backup/(world name).
