If your soldiers die, they will respawn, but you won't. You will lose all soldiers, coins and items except the artifacts, and you will have to start all over again. To tackle the mighty bosses impeding your progress, you must obtain as many artifacts as possible. Subsequently, beating these bosses will earn you additional artifacts.

The game offers several distinct playstyles, including powering up soldiers to defeat monsters, unlocking endless dungeons, hiring magical units like healers or summoners, defending yourself from incoming enemies in a tower defense manner, powering-up quests to earn more coins, and engaging in PvP with other players to improve your leaderboard score.
