Vignette is a comprehensive camera app that offers a plethora of features including:
- A wide range of artsy filters and frames, ranging from instant camera, LOMO, Diana and Holga styles to various film emulations such as Ilford, Portra, Velvia, Ektachrome and Tri-X. Users can also play with vintage and retro filters like sepia, platinotype, and faded photo effects, as well as blur effects such as tilt-shift, soft-focus, HDR and the Orton effect, amongst other options.
- A seamless full-resolution editing experience that enables users to apply effects without compromising on the original picture quality. Even if your smartphone camera produces 21-megapixel pictures, Vignette ensures that the output remains unchanged. Also, you can import photos into the app and apply effects without resizing them.
- A variety of shooting modes such as self-timer, time-lapse, steady-shot modes, 10× digital zoom, and rule-of-thirds and golden ratio composition guides to help users capture the perfect shot.
- A customizable interface that allows users to use the volume rocker as a shutter button, control exposure or zoom. The app also provides an option to move icons to the opposite side of the screen or choose where pictures get saved.
- Timestamps that enable users to imbed time, date, and location onto their pictures in a range of colors and sizes.
- Privacy features that ensure users' photos do not leave their device until they choose to share them. Vignette does not require an internet connection to process pictures, nor does it upload them to an online gallery.
