Who Needs a Hero? - Adventure

The adventure starts off in Grimar, a peaceful and prosperous kingdom where travelers from all over the world visit on a daily basis. However, everything changed when an individual with extraordinary magical powers began to control the monsters within the kingdom, causing them to wreak havoc and destruction upon the city. Your mission is to uncover the culprit behind these attacks and create a legend as the strongest, wealthiest, and most celebrated warrior to ever exist!

Throughout your journey, you will be presented with decision-based events that require you to choose between "Yes" or "No" which will impact your fame, finances, followers, and plot. During battle events, you will use a tabletop RPG system, rolling dice to determine your chances of victory. Your strength and skill levels play a significant role in defeating your enemies, but be cautious as once your life bar depletes, it's game over.

You will also encounter success and failure events which require a stroke of luck to succeed. Answering events in the right order will earn you valuable skills that may come in handy when you least expect it. Beware of events with side effects, which can either be beneficial or detrimental depending on the choices you make. Keep an inventory of all items you come across, as even something as unsavory as poop can be useful. Spend your gold coins at a merchant or trade with followers on the black market for rare finds. As your fame grows, you'll attract more followers, but be alert of their opinions towards you, as they can either boost or damage your reputation.
