Hangouts Dialer - Call Phones

You can now make calls to any phone number in the world through the Hangouts app without using your cell plan minutes, and many calls to the US and Canada are free. To activate this feature, download and install the Hangouts Dialer. Once installed, you can access all voice calling features either directly from Hangouts or by using the Hangouts Dialer as a shortcut on the dialer screen. The Hangouts app enables users to make phone calls over data, including landlines, and offers Outbound Caller ID to verify your number when calling. Additionally, you can connect Google Voice to make VOIP calls from the Hangouts app. However, it's important to note that while voice calls to other Hangouts users are free, other phone calls may carry a cost, and mobile carrier and ISP charges may apply for data use.
