You can now give MyChart permission to access Health Connect in the background and sync health data while MyChart is not open. The account settings activity has an updated look-and-feel. These features might become available to you after your healthcare organization starts using the latest version of Epic.

You can also connect with other healthcare organizations to consolidate all of your healthcare information in one location. Use fingerprint authentication or a four-digit passcode to quickly access your account. Availability of features within the app is dependent on your healthcare organization's access and use of Epic software.
