TNW Tickets

Introducing the TNW network (Tarifverbund Nordwestschweiz) and TriRegio app. "TNW Tickets" is the pioneering Switzerland smartphone app for transportation network tickets, enabling a speedy, straightforward and secure ticket-buying experience. Its features include an assortment of tickets including short-distance, zone, day, multi-trip cards and special TNW tickets, TriRegio tickets for cross-border travel, and RVL connection tickets in combination with the U-Abo or GA travelcard. The app also conveniently offers a secure wallet for unlimited multi-trip cards, protects and restores them via a one-time SMS registration, and transfers them easily to another smartphone. TWINT, Visa, Mastercard Postfinance Debit Card and Apple Pay are the modes of payment permissible. The app displays associated disruption messages for selected departure stops and allows users to save ticket preferences, locate current departure locations and stops, travel with up to seven friends, search for destination stops via "Search by place/stop" function, view all possible connections with Route, automatically calculate fares, view short trips with an alphabetical listing, secure the purchase process with a password, send purchase receipts by email, and provide a ticket memory for ten days. Lastly, integration with the SwissPass Half-Fare Card enables the display of control information directly in the ticket, streamlining the inspection process through smartphone display alone.
